This is supposedly a stay busy fight for Povetkin until
his inevitable showdown against Wladimir Klitschko.
Povetkin is still undefeated. After the Klitschko Bros.
and David Haye, Povetkin is acknowledged as one of the best heavyweights in the
world. He has a 68% KO ratio with 2 of his last 3 fights won by KO.
Keeping this in mind, Povetkin still went life and death
against Marco Huck — a cruiserweight who had previously never fought before as
a heavyweight. He may have come away as a winner, but his flaws were obvious.
While Povetkin did demonstrate a whole lot of heart, it’s obvious he has a
whole lot of stamina issues.
